Saturday the 19 August was a historic day for athletics in the ACT and surrounding region of NSW. At two Special General Meetings the voting members of Little Athletics ACT and Athletics ACT voted overwhelmingly to unify the two organisations.

2023 Australian Cross Country - Team ACT Announcement

Unification Update
The Joint Board's of Little Athletics ACT and Athletics ACT have been working hard behind the scenes as we head towards a vote in the Unification process.
Several documents have now been released to the membership and we will continue to release documents over the coming weeks.

2023 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships
The Australian Little Athletics Championships for 2023 were held last weekend in Melbourne. A total of 26 athletes represented Team ACT.
We had a wonderful weekend, earning many personal bests, medals, and new friendships.
Officials Function - Award Recipients
The end of season Officials function was held last Friday night at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club. There was an awesome turn out, and an overall great night to celebrate the seasons end. Please see below for those who received an award on the night.

Australian Little Athletics Championships Statement

Chris Timpson - Athletics ACT Life Member
Last Sunday Athletics ACT held its Annual General Meeting.
During the AGM Athletics ACT were pleased to award Life Membership to Chris Timpson.
Chris has been actively involved as a Coach, Mentor, Administrator and Technical Official in the ACT for over 25 years and is a worthy recipient of Life Membership.
