Glen Taylor - Chief Executive Glen commenced with Athletics in the ACT in June 2022. Glen comes to us having twenty years’ experience in finance and credit roles, owning his own business and a lifetime of involvement in athletics, most recently as a non-executive director of Little Athletics NSW. Glen has a broad range of expertise focusing on leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, strategy development and implementation, change management, cultural change, financial management, governance and major event initiatives.
Laura Kearney - Administration & Membership Born and raised in Canberra, Laura joined the team at Little Athletics ACT in 2023 to further develop her professional career. Studying Commerce and has played a variety of sport since the age of 3, Laura was a Little Athletics athlete at the Weston Creek REDBACKS from the age of 12 to 16. Now she is currently playing first grade AFL for Eastlake. Laura graduated from Canberra College in 2021 and holds an ACT Real Estate License, an RSA and a Certificate III in Retail.
Samantha Brown - Participation & Developemnt Samantha has been living in Canberra since 2019. Sam as a long association with Athletics, having a very sucessful junior career which included competeing at National Championships. Sam's long-term goal has always been to work in the sporting industry, and she especially enjoys working with children. Sam graduated from the sports SEDA College in 2019. She holds a Certificate II in Business Services and a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation. Kiarna Woolley-Blain - Competition Delivery ACT athlete and Sports Management student Kiarna Woolley-Blain joined the team in a part-time role in June 2022 and will be assisting with competition, events and officials. She moved to Canberra in 2021, and graduated from Lumen Christi Catholic College in 2020. She completed a traineeship with AFL Canberra in 2021 and holds a Certificate III in Business. |
