On-Line Entry

The 2023/24 Summer Series On-Line Entry Fee is $15 per meet and this covers all events entered. This fee is payable at the time of event registration.

Please note that the age determination date for all athletes, other than Masters athletes, is 31st December 2024. The age determination date for Masters athletes is the date of the meet.

On-Line entry closes at 9:00pm on the Thursday immediately prior to the day of competition.  Please note that leaving your On-Line entry to the last few minutes may mean the system closes before you complete the entry process and make payment. To ensure you don't miss the 9pm cut off due to log in issues, please completed your on-line entry early.  Contact the office before 5pm that business day if you have trouble registering.  If this contact is not made you will have to complete an on-day entry form and pay the on-day entry fee.

Athletes must Sign-In for all events entered at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event/s.

Due to the limitations of the current athlete registration system, athlete registrations must be manually transferred to the On-Line entry system. This will be done as at 4:00pm each standard business day (ie Monday to Friday).  Athletes who complete their registration after 4:00pm will not be able to use the On-Line Meet entry system until after 4:00pm of the following business day.

On-Day Entry

On-Day entry is available for this Meet with the On-Day entry fee set at $30.  Payment can only be made by EFTPOS (Visa or Mastercard) only.  On-Day entries close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the event.  The On-Day entry form is available at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, there will be copies available to fill in on the day of the event.

All athletes must be registered members of Capital Athletics or an athletics body affiliated with Athletics Australia.

The minimum age eligible to enter and compete in the Summer Series is U12, which is 11 years of age (as at 31st December 2024). Capital Athletics Athletes must be registered with a full-service club, senior only club or be a dual registered athlete with a little athletics only club.

Athletes aged 11 years and older as at 31 December 2023 will compete in the relevant age groups (Under 12, Under 13, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Under 20 and Open) with Masters registered athletes able to compete in the standard 5 year age brackets.

Entry Process

Please note:  1 or more events may have entries closed off prior to the published close of entries if the number of entries taken for an event is determined to be excessive

When entering events, please ensure that you enter the seed performance relevant to the event being entered.  Please take careful note of the seed performance format.  All track events of 400 metres or more use a format of mm:ss.dd (eg '2:36.23' or 12:26.23').  If you do not use a valid seed performance format, the performance you have entered will be rejected on import to Meet Manager and, instead, it will be shown as 'NT' (ie No Time).

If you have an IPC classification, please enter it against the relevant question in the format "TxxFxx".

All Capital Athletics Meets are conducted in accordance with the current Capital Athletics Rules of Competition (Available at the bottom of the page).
